Vicki’s Teaching in Italy
Beginning in the late 1990’s and extending to 2019, Vicki’s books were published in Italian and she began teaching there once or twice each year. Bologna, Torino, Pescara, Padova, Lecce, Roma, and other cities hosted her during those dynamic years, as she introduced the Motherpeace Tarot and her specially-adapted Tibetan Buddhist Dakini teachings to hundreds of devoted Italian women who continue their practices today. This brilliant run ended abruptly when Covid-19 closed things down; it is unclear whether she will be able to continue this work in the future.
The women of Bolsena, Italy, hosted many Motherpeace and Dakini workshops for me over the years. In 2008, they created this lovely impassioned expression of the Motherpeace Judgement card made of flowers for one of their national Catholic feast days, Santo Domini. What a wonderful integration of women’s spirituality into the national celebration!
Dakini Days are one-day tutorials designed for women in the greater Bay Area or Southern California – those who are able to come for one day of teaching and practice. In a lively creative format, the client receives a teaching and transmission of practice from me, followed by a long afternoon of visualization practice in teh form of creating a complex collage process based on the Five Dakini Families.
